I see/read a lot of troubling posts in some of these threads, it seems like a lot of posts are creating some problems. There are some who just do not know/care about others or know how to act on the best sports forum on the internet, THE RX. Let's not let it [here on the rx ] get like some of the other sport forums on the net. I believe that whoever is responsible, should start acting now, before it gets out of hand & start losing some good posters here. NUFF SAID.
Definitely this...i think the RX is great...but some of the bs lately is troubling...they need to have a new head mod immediately so this whole thing will just setle down..time to bring some new energy into the forum ..when you cruise past the other sites they are happy as a pig in shit to see the trouble going on here and that is not a good thing...

I agree that all of us here who make us TheRx don't want to liken ourselves to other forums.

Gmen the only time other forums are happy is when they are b!tching among themselves or discussing OTHER forums.
It seems apparent that TheRx is the main topic at some sites and they survive off of us.
It's funny in a way, bud sad as well, that they cannot generate enough interest otherwise and still rely on TheRx and other posters at various sites in one way or another to survive.
As for certain posters you refer to "feeding the fire", there are a small hanful who are merely two-faced that say one thing over here, and just the opposite at other forums.
These TheRx and all of us here as a group are better of without as well wouldn't you agree???
Absolutely agree...I was blown away that a person could act like that... bc too me I still view this as "real life" I cant imagine sitting at a bar with all my friends and then going over to the other side of the bar to talk shit about them. This really is the only forum I have ever actually posted on so I guess its all still new to me.The anonymity of the Internet allows people to act in a manner they wouldnt normally act.
But I would expect at least some measure of loyalty and integrity...I guess thats me being naive..
I personally love this site and you would never catch me pulling some punk ass bullshit like that.

I think in this case they are talking about the sports forums. Their is a particular problem that has occured many times and is now happening in the CBB forum. That is posters harrassing posters who post winning picks.
I have said for years these guys are sent here from other forums but regardless our own posters are not handling it well.
You shouldnt argue or even acknowledge these people....simply report the post as harrassing or hi-jacking and let it be.

Good points PPP, and one of the policies here has always been that posters are not allowed to go into other posters' personal picks-thread and harass them in any way.
If you see this, report it, and that poster will be warned, and if they continue, placed on Post Review so their critique doesn't get through any longer.
I agree spart. It seems some of the threads here revert to a few people saying "you're wrong and you're an idiot and I'm right" or some derivation thereof. When it gets to that level I just bow out. I refuse to be a part of a playground shouting match.

it does seem the overall mood has changed significantly, or at least, noticeably, It seems to me it began with OMT and Wil leaving, but that may just be my interpretation... I haven't been logging on as regularly recently. But, especially those who have been in this game for a long time, it is an opportunity to take more of a leadership role. While you may not be a mod, just sharing your knowledge (of both life, here in Offshore, and gambling, in the subforums) will certainly help keep the forums on track, because it will keep those who are genuinely interested here, and push away those who are here for the high school drama bs.
